ACA Introduces Collegiate Archery Sweepstakes with first four of six state tournaments of the ACA series counting toward the Collegiate Conference Sweepstakes! What an exciting time to add more archers and competitors and grow the sport! More universities are coming online and the Classic 600 will be hosted by the University of Jamestown in their Fieldhouse!
Collegiate Archers must compete in their adult division as well as their collegiate division, will be eligible for both individual awards in both divisions as well as earn points for their team.
The first four tournaments are considered conference play, therefore, there will be a top team winner, individual winners, and after the four conference tournaments <NFAA 300, Vegas, Indoor 3D, and Classic 600> there will be Collegiate Conference Individual Grand Champions, a Conference Team Sweepstakes Champion, Conference Grand Slam Winners, and Collegiate Shooters of the Years for the Alliance of Competitive Archers. Per the NFAA affiliate, collegiate archers wishing to participate who are full time students (12 credits), in good standing, but at a university without a team or a club that is currently organized within the university can still participate as an independent by providing a letter from their university proving they are in good standing with their university to compete.

STATE TEAM SWEEPSTAKES
Entry: If your college/university has at least one male or female archer in each division (Compound, Bowhunter, Recurve, Recurve Barebow), your team will be automatically entered.
Composition & Ranking: The highest male or female scores from each day’s shooting (qualification score one and two) in each collegiate shooting style will be used to rank teams, with prizes awarded accordingly.
Note: since universities are in their infancy in the conference and full teams are unlikely; total scores are not used, note that the term “rank” is used. Therefore, a shooter who had the highest total score in Adult Female Freestyle, for an example, which would also be Collegiate Adult Femal Freestyle, would earn the rank of “1”. The second highest competitor would have the rank of “2”. Similar to golf, the team with lowest ranking total score, will become that tournament Team Champion Women’s Team and Men’s Team. If that Team didn’t have a competitor in a particular division, such as Collegiate Adult Female Barebow, there is an automatic “10” placed in the formula for a non-competitor in that division for the team
